Hi all,

I am creating this topic for anything you cannot identify which is on your tug.

I found a white wedge-shaped item loose in the bilge of the engine compartment Can anyone tell me what it is?

Here is another mystery. This tool was loose in the bottom of the briefcase which held all the equipment manuals. I do not know which piece of equipment it goes with.

Can anyone help?

This tool is for your sink faucet to tighten to keep from dripping.

Picture #2 would be a wrench that fits the top adjusting ring on the pullout faucet.

Pic #1 looks like a left handed diesel smoke shifter.... I could be wrong however. 😀

Picture 1 may be one of the wedges that are slid under the thru hull valves with a 90 degree off-set. They provide support if a heavy weight is accidently placed on the valve.

Agree with Kaiserwe on pic #1. These little blocks are under the seacock for the generator and a/c, to provide support. Don't ask me why they are only "tie-wrapped" in place Doug. :?

Thanks guys and gals.

Your responses have been all very helpful.

I hope some other owners will continue to use this discussion for "widgets" on their boats.

The wedges that are slid under the thru hull valves were done in response to a magazine article that criticized the 90 degree sea-cocks.

Don't know if the newer models were changed but the older ones were retrofitted.

Tool in the 2nd photo also is used to install or remove the flag pole.
