Where do I put my ensign?

I am acquiring a Portland Pudgy Dinghy that I intend to mount on the swim platform of an R27 using a Weaver Davit. This will pretty much totally bury the place where I usually mount the ensign for my boat. Where else can the ensign go so that it meets USCG and Canadian standards?

We fly ours from the angled flagstaff on the aft of the mast. When visiting Canada, we also fly a smaller Canadian flag (commonly known as a courtesy flag) off the starboard yardarm after clearing customs.
