Where to find the hull ID # on R23?

I know the HIN from the boat's registration papers, but I couldn't find it on the boat itself.

It's supposed to be stamped into the hull somewhere? Does anyone know where I should look on my R23 to find it?

Hey there Jason,

The HIN number is stamped on the starboard side of the transom just under the swim platform near the transom entry door.

Normally it's high on the hull side of the transom on starboard side.

Look above the starboard side trim tab and above the tie-down U-bolt, as that is where mine is.
