Where to stock & stay near DesMoines?

Hi,
Leslie & Jerry from Colorado again.
When we come out for the factory delivery we were wondering where we should stay while we get the boat stocked & where is the place to shop. We were thinking Target, a dept store, hardware store, sporting good. We were wondering if Bellevue is too far. Or is there a place we can ship it all to? So much to think about. Thanks

Stay on your boat!
There is the Marina Inn within walking distance, should you need motel. If you have a vehicle there are numerous grocers and hardware in the Des Moines/Kent/Federal Way area. Bellevue is about 20 miles north and a traffic nightmare.
Anthony's restaurant is at the marina and Wally's Chowder House is a 5 min walk....

Thanks for the suggestions. We would need to get it stocked the day we fly in. We will check out the restaurants.

How much time will you be spending around the Sound after you take delivery? Any shakedown cruising?

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your reply. We are in the process of setting up some time around DesMoines, Anacortes & the San Juan Islands with a captain. We definitely want to get more experience & be sure all our systems are working. Do you have any suggestions on a captain, locations and what we should consider including as part of the shakedown? Thanks for any suggestions.
