Which Ranger Tug for Tall couple

We are a tall couple (6'5" and 5'10") considering buying a Ranger Tug. We want to be able to do multiple weeks on the boat comfortably. Which (if any) of the Ranger Tug models can comfortably accommodate a tall couple (particularly someone 6'5")? Thanks for any advice.

Our R31 works well for us. I’m 6’2”, the lowest area is the head. V berth fits us both well, but wife is on the shorter side. At boat shows we tried the 27 and 29 and decided on the 31. The 43 was perfect, but couldn’t justify the cost.

Joe - Thanks - Would you fit in the bed in the midship on the R31? My son is 6'3"

I'm 6' 1" and I'd say I only technically fit in the bed on our R-25. I can sleep fine mostly, but I would absolutely love to have more length so my feet don't reach the very end of the cushions when using a pillow.

In my article at https://www.outofoffice.living/2026/03/creature-comforts-people-pets-and.html I talked a bit about the creature comforts. I think Martin is right and the diesel boats are where it is. On our R-25 I barely fit in the bed and I’m only 5’ 11”. On the 43 we can fit two of us and two dogs that sneak up in the middle of the night. Both the berths on the 43 are standard queen size.

That said, I’ve heard of taller people who used an outboard boat fine. Andrew from Fluid Motion cruised for years in a 23 and he’s taller than I am. It’s all about tradeoffs. Buying a big bed surrounded by 50 feet of boat and a couple of engines has its own tradeoffs for sure.
