I have a RT-21 that I bought new in 2016.
The "white" light that sits atop the mast has gone out for some reason. My problem is that try as I might, I cannot get the "cap" off of the light. It doesn't seem to unscrew and it doesn't seem to just want to pop off. There are three very small nuts on the end of some small bolts on the underside, but the nuts just turn without coming off so it would appear that they are not there to keep the cap on over the light bulb.
Anyone have a suggestion for me?
Thanks,
Tom

tBorcher, the three screws hold the housing to the mast, the round glass should turn counter clockwise about 15 degrees to align three detente to align with slots in the housing for removal.
Pushing in on the glass when turning sometimes helps! If all else fails use a BFH adapter (Hammer),
For removal and replace with new one from Sea Dog Lighting with new LED unit for about $20 can be purchased on Amazon or at your local marine suppliers. Good luck! Bob
