Why did Cutwater discontinue the c 28?

Reading a recent thread, it was mentioned the the C-28 has been discontinued. I also heard recently that the inboard diesel version had been discontinued? Given that I own one, I'm interested....

It may be for the same reason they no longer offer the diesel inboard on the R27.
I checked with the factory and folks want more speed hence the 300 HP OB!
I have an R-27 inboard and love it.

Hello,

If my memory serves me right, we started building this model in the 2011 timeframe. Being that the molds were in production for over ten years, it was time for a change and felt the outboard would be a better fit for our customers wants and needs on a model like this throughout the different parts of the US. The diesel model is and still will be a very desired boat!
