WHY DOES A COMMENT DISAPPEAR ?

YESTERDAY A COMMENT ON THE POST '' A RANGER TUG PURCHASE STORY '' DISAPPEARED IN LESS THAN 14 HRS I BELIEVE . I THOUGHT IT WAS WELL WRITTEN AND A LOT OF THOUGHT WENT INTO IT , THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME . I HAVE READ THE ''TERMS OF USE '' AND I DON'T BELIEVE IT VIOLATED THOSE TERMS . CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS ? THANKS

I have also had posts mysteriously disappear. I would characterize them as thoughtful, and reasoned, and I put some time into composing them. Some weren't always entirely complimentary to Ranger, but I didn't think they were over the top. I messaged Bruce Moore (the site administrator) about this, and he said he only deletes posts that are truly offensive or spam. He seems like a likable, reasonable gentleman, and I believe him. I don't know if someone in he factory can also delete posts. It's a mystery. (We'll see if this one stays posted.)

I apologize for the disruption of your original thread. I commented on it giving my opinion of your post. My opinion was based on experiences I had when working as a technician. There was some words (not vulgar but legal) that I should not have used. This was not following the guidelines of this forum. I don't think the folks at Fluid Motion appreciated this. I meant no disrespect just stating my opinion. I also apologize to them and Bruce who has to monitor the Forum. I was happy to see that your thread returned.
