I recently attended the Great Lakes Area Ranger/Cut rendezvous at Little Current, Ontario, Canada. I trailered my boat from Kentucky and arrived a couple days before the rendezvous. After getting my 2012 R27 in the water and squared away, I cruised to Baie Fine, a world famous freshwater fjord, and anchored at the end of the fjord in a place called “The Pool.” It is just the most perfect natural anchorage.

While there, I connected with Dan and Connie Westbrook on their impeccable R31CB.

I took this photograph of our boats from my dinghy. There were other boats in the anchorage, but I was able to frame this without them.

Nice post about a beautiful area. Access to places such as this is indeed why we enjoy the Ranger Tugs.

Again this year, I towed my boat to Oshkosh to use for accommodations during the airshow. It works really well.

After the airshow, I towed my boat to Detour, Michigan on Lake Huron and cruised Lakes Huron and Michigan for a week. I love the flexibility of a trailerable boat.

A ferry load of people pass the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. A nice way to visit Mackinac Island is on your own Ranger Tug!
