As the old saying goes, you can make anything work if you're willing to spend enough money. That trailer would be a bit longer than what might be practical for the 24. The bunks will most likely need to be moved at the very least and you may end up having to make new ones. You will also have the problem that the weight of the 24 would be too far aft, causing the tongue weight to be too low. Even though they're both outboard boats, the 24 will need to sit aft enough for the prop to not interfere with the rear cross member when you load the boat, taking weight off the front. Also, since the 24 is three feet shorter (in general) than the 27 you will lose all of the weight of the 27s bow area since it doesn't exist on the 24, adding to the problem.
