Windlass fusible link

Can you tell me where the fusible link is for the windlass on the R25 2010? We saw the solenoid behind the helm for the controls but looked all over for the fusible link and can't locate it? Thanks! Rich

Rich, I am not sure what you are referencing regarding a fusible link in the windlass wiring system. Our MY '09 classic has the solenoid in the location you have mentioned (in the wiring compartment behind the helm) and there is a blade style, resettable circuit breaker under the cushion of the berth port side storage compartment. Is this what you are looking for?

Rich, I just rewired my windless and forward thruster on my R25 so I could relocate thruster battery forward. In the process I found that the windless relay is fed directly from the forward thruster control.

The forward thruster was fed from a special fuse located in the generator compartment Aft. The windless is fed off the forward thruster circuit fuse through a circuit breaker under the fed port bunk.

I took out the two fuses that came with the R 25 and replace them both with 100 amp circuit breakers. The winless operates on the same circuit breaker as the forward thruster plus the second one described above.
