When storing indoors minimum 55 degrees on a rack .
What preparations are warranted.
I will fill my fuel and use a stabilizer.
Empty my holding tank and fresh water.
Remove food turn off and crack open fridge etc etc.
Do I need to winterize the engine and freshwater system?
Also I am wondering what is the best way to preserve and protect my batteries?
I have never racked stored before,is there anything I should know about it?

As to your batteries.....if they have electric power at your storage place you could connect your boat so you keep your batteries topped off. If not you should disconnect each battery cable to prevent any misc. drain. When disconnecting zip tie all cables from each post together, number the cable batch to a corresponding number on the battery post. Move to the next post and do the same until all cables are disconnected. As an additional option you could take all your batteries out of the boat, if you have no power, and take them home to place on a trickle charge while the boat is in winter storage.
