Winterization: Don’t Forget Accessory Batteries

I’m winterizing my 2012 R27. One thing I do that doesn’t make some winterization checklists is to remove the batteries from the autopilot and thruster remotes, flashlights, TV and Fusion stereo remotes. That may save them from battery leak damage.

Good reminder! I will put in a plug for switching them over to Lithium batteries when replacing them in the Spring, as those are supposedly less likely to leak.
