My wife and I have recently purchased a new R-25SC Ranger Tug from Lefroy Harbour Resorts on Lake Simcoe, Ontario, which, by the way, we are delighted with. What I would like clarification on is "would I be contravening the engine warranty if I carried out the winterizing myself ? "
Many thanks.
Neil and Katy Provan.

You are allowed to do all the work yourself or have someone else complete it. I have spoken directly with Volvo Canada and as long as you use parts that meet their specs and keep detailed records / receipts, all is good. You can even do the 50 hour service, even though the V-P service book says it must be completed by an authorized V-P shop.
