Wiper blades

I need to replace the wiper blades on my R25. I tried the AFI curved blades from West Marine but they don't attach properly... any suggestions? Also can you order parts from Ranger because there seems to be no parts department or order sheet accessible on-line.

I ordered, for our R27, a pair of Marino 12" black polymer deluxe wiper blades....marine grade. The part number is 31012B and I'd suggest googling the name and number find out where you can purchase them, assuming they work on an R25.

4 years ago I removed the wipers and became a fan of Rain-X. I am very happy as windows are clearer -- all the glass, not just the top portion -- and a lot cheaper than blade replacement and repairs.

How often do you apply the Rainex ?

I need to do the RainX. Those wipers are pretty useless. Even for wipers, there has to be better ones that actually wipe more than 40% of the window?

I apply Rain-X every couple of months. You can easily tell when it is wearing off. Wal-Mart or similar for a $5 yellow bottle which will last a year or two. I use a micro-wipe; wet one corner to apply and use the rest of the wipe to polish.
