The wooden support structure holding the wooden platform under the propane locker of my 2012 R27 is disintegrating and the wooden platform is collapsing onto the components below. I need to fix this. Has anybody experienced this? If so, what was the fix?

Update: I removed the propane locker and the wooden floor underneath. That whole assembly rests upon some 1/2” painted plywood support pieces that form a 2” wide U-shaped shelf bracket around the inside of the cockpit rear seat and storage area. The plywood hasn’t disintegrated; as best as I’m able to determine, those plywood pieces are fastened to fiberglass structure by some sort of adhesive. What has happened is that adhesive bond broke and the shelf bracket and the wooden floor attached to it dropped onto some wire bundles that run underneath. Not a good situation.

I studied the problem with a couple guys and I have a plan to build a more sturdy floor in that space. The original design is not what I would have expected from Ranger Tugs. Later model R27’s have a fiberglass liner in that space and a propane locker on the swim platform.

Your observation is accurate. Things tend to evolve to better between model years. You can always retrofit the swim step locker and perhaps the seat liner is still available. However, the step locker may present a problem with your Hurley davits if you are still using them. Always compromises!!
