I have pulled the R21, this is my first season so I have to work the current problems.
So far the hard top is getting worked in another post (thank you Ron). Now it appears when it gets cold
I can't shift into gears. I need to pull gear shift cable, I already have had to fix the throttle cable, rusted,
that was a trip. I haven't figured out how to get the shift assembly off wooden instrument panel so I can
work on the cable connection where I can actually see what I am doing. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks Bruce
PS this is a 98 R21

Wheeew, glad you mentioned it is a 98, I thought you were talking about a brand new one. 🙂

Bruce, it is helpful when you are stumped to get another pair of eyes to look at it. Anyone with mechanical experience.
Happened to me recently. After crawling into the boat a half dozen times with inspection mirrors and lights, etc. and crawling out mumbling to myself, I asked my son to look at it. He crawled in and with his long arms could feel where I could not see, or reach. In five minutes he had it solved.
