This summer my Yanmar 110 Turbo is only able to achieve 3000 RPMs.

The bottom is perfectly clean.

The prop appears to be in great shape.

There is no additional weight in the boat.

It has been true even in excellent water conditions.

I pulled the screen and checked to see if the blades in the turbo are moving and they are.

Any suggestions as to what might be going on.

Top speed 11.5 knots

Check both fuel filters.

If changing the fuel filters as previously suggested doesn't work, I would next adjust the valves. If that isn't the solution, I would remove the injectors and have them tested by a shop for the spray pattern. Good luck. Please let us know how it works out.

You might also want to inspect the throttle cable for any obvious issues. Corrosion, something loose/bent, etc. Sometimes it's the simple things...

WOW. I'm lucky if I get 10MPH on my 2008 110. I've never gotten anywhere close to 13mph (11.5knots) let alone higher than that!. Maybe I need to check into that? I really don't have the need to go that fast, but you never know when I might.
