Went to change the 2nd fuel filter. Opened the drain on the water sensor and it drained but it kept draining at a slow rate and actually filled the filter up again. The fuel tank was full and I had installed a shutoff valve and it was closed. Apparently their is fuel pressure still in the line. I think the fuel tank should have been only partially filled. I loosened the bleed screw and tightened it up but noticed small bubbling at the screw. Do i need a new washer on the bleed screw and the fact that the tank was full have anything to do with the filter draining constantly? Had about 1/8 Gal. diesel in my bilge. Seems I have a steep learning curve dealing with this diesel engine lol.
