Yanmar 6BY 260 zinc locations

My apologies if this topic has been discussed before......

The location of zincs on the charge air cooler and heat exchanger are readily apparent.....but I cannot find a zinc on the oil cooler (Transmission Cooler on bottom side of motor).

Does the oil cooler not have it own zinc?

The 4by2-180 only has two zincs. Not sure if the 6BY is the same.

As far as I know, there are only two zincs as Mike listed. They should be outlined in the manual as to where they are located.

Thanks Guys...

What I thought.....as that is what is indicated in the manual.

I just thought it odd that a metallic heat exchanger (the oil cooler) subject to internal saltwater contact would not have a sacrificial zinc anode.

Particularly considering the inaccessibility of that exchanger (underside of engine).....

Which.....may itself explain why the is no provisions for an anode?
