I find it cumbersome to carry 4 different oil and coolant products for the 6BY and Onan (Kubota Z402) engines . Queries to three Kubota dealers have confirmed that Rotella T6 Synthetic is acceptable for the Kubota engine; and of course the T6 specs show it meets the Yanmar requirements. So now I can carry only one grade of oil. As for the coolant; the Yanmar uses the Havoline Extended Life Dexcool type and the Kubota dealers have indicated the same coolant may be used in the Kubota; but don't mix types or brands. So this means fewer liquids to stow leaving room for more other stuff. Have others come to a similar conclusion ?
