To answer your question, you need to use extended life antifreeze. The Rotella says ELC So I assume it is extended life. Yanmar had published a list of acceptable coolants because the problem was that on the original publication they were all Japanese product numbers and did not match the USA. They came out with a list on a service bulletin. I am not sure if Rotella was on it. I do know that Prestone extended life was.
Just to add what Irish Mist said, the antifreeze should be replaced every 500 hours or 2 years, whichever comes first. The directions for removing the antifreeze is impracticable. You are supposed to remove the heat exchanger to get to the drain plug. A brilliant engineering move! So there are two other petcock type drains, one on the side near the bottom of the heat exchanger about in line with the fill cap and there is another one at the rear near the bottom kind of behind the turbo. You can use either one and will get about half of the antifreeze out using this method, therefore I change my antifreeze once per year.
