Yanmar Diesel - Throttle Neutral Protect adjustment?

I've got a Yanmar 4BY2 150HP diesel on a (newly purchased) 2010 Ranger R25 with only 350h on the clock. It often won't start without me fiddling back and forth on the throttle leaver to enable contact with the starter motor. I worry that at some point this may no longer work. I see reference to "neutral protect" feature on the electronics? Does anyone know how to adjust this feature?
