Old topic cites Yanmar service bulletin - replace oil line to sender - risk of catastrophic oil loss.
Boat is 2011 C26 4BY2-180 stamped 2011. In range of service bulletin.
No record of such service on my boat (neither my, nor PO's, invoices/documents).
Boroscope inspection: I see apparent correct replacement hose stamped 5/03/11.
But: immediately behind the banjo bolt I see either...
(a) the union of two curved parts, or
(b) a crack likely caused by aggressive overtightening of the banjo bolt (there was a torque spec on the service bulletin)
I am not experiencing oil loss.
Anyone familiar enough with the Yanmar to recognize what I'm looking at here?
