yeti lithium ion battery generator vs diesel generator

Hello!
Looking for some advice on generators...We have a R25 2008 and when we are off shore power for 4 days our house batteries would not hold a charge thru the night, we are only running our fridge. We are looking for an alternative power source, we have looked into the Yeti ion battery generator (sold at Costco) vs a standard diesel generator vs solar power. We love the idea of how quiet the Yeti would be and how quiet solar would be but not sure if they would be worth it. Would the Yeti at 1000 watts be able to be used more than just thru the night without having to be charged? and the diesel generators be the same as running our engines for an hour or more a day? How much power does solar give ( i know depending on the sunshine that day) but would they charge your battery so we wouldnt have the drain after 4 days?

On my 21ec I have three house batteries with a total usable amp hours at 90. Normal usage with fridge at 2.2 amps. and all led lights I can stay at anchor indefinitely with typical sun and cloud cover using a 70 watt solar panel. It gives enough current to cover my usage. Batteries never get near 50%. One good sunny day and I am back at 100%. Bigger boat would need a bigger panel. But they are cheap now a days.

A 150 Watt solar panel costs less than one AGM battery, is silent, and will keep you powered indefinitely with good batts, sunny days, and one refrigerator.

The Yeti Power Station is not a generator. It is a lithium battery with a built in charger and inverter. It will still need to be charged back up via shore power unless you add a solar panel to it. It will also not run your refrigerator without modification to the boat to transfer the fridge from the boat batteries to the Yeti.

You already have the systems on your boat that the Yeti provides except the lithium battery. For the price of the Yeti you could install two solar panels and have all the power you would need to stay on the hook indefinitely under all but the cloudiest conditions.
