Hi there,

I’m pulling the boat for a 1-2hr window to do my zincs. First time that I’ve done them on this boat.

I’d like to have the gear all on-hand to make it a seamless experience in the short window that I’ll have it in the sling.

A couple of questions for the forum please:
1. What is the prop shaft size for the 2010 r29 (for the prop anode)
2. Are the other anodes standard or custom (thinking about lead time and whether they’d be at standard chandleries)
3. Any other tricks or tips that I should keep in mind (ie tools, etc)?

Many thanks!

Hello,

Most to all of the zincs are standard zincs that can be sourced by a local shop. I am not sure the size for the pro but you could check with our parts department via parts@rangertugs.com.

You should have a zinc on each thruster gear leg, one on each trim tab, transom zinc and prop zinc. No special tools, mainly a crescent wrench and some allen wrenches. Hope this helps!!

Thanks,

Make sure you add a lock washer and lock tight on the zinc on the prop shaft.. I have lost at least 3 well before their time.
