R23 Holding Tank Sensor won't turn off

Does anyone have a better black water tank sensor for the R23 that is reliable?

Mine was working but after getting wet one time it now indicates full all the time

I see that SCAD makes a Rod Style sensor instead of gluing the pads on the outside of the tank. Its the same principle as all the others but its all inside the tank. The foil sensors are inside the PVC tube that goes into the tank

It will require drilling a new whole into the top of the tank. I currently have the top of my tank exposed (R23) if you want to know how to get to it I can share how I did it (Yes it requires cutting!)

Any ideas on how to get my old sensor working again? I am curious how it is attached to the outside of the tank and if the water loosened it or shorted it out. Thoughts or ideas?

I would love a pic of the top of the tank and where you cut to get to it.

Gobies Pro is an external sensor that measures volume through the top of the tank. I’m considering it.

I also have a 2019 R23 and would like to have a tank sensor for the black tank. Could you send me pictures on how you gained access to the tank. Thanks Jerry

I have a 2019 RT23 with black water idiot light that stopped working (I believe after tank overflowed out of vent) and would greatly appreciate pictures of access to tank and tank sensor
