Does anyone have a part # for this fuel cap so we can try to obtain a new fuel cap. (2023 R31CB)

The chain broke on ours & the cap went overboard. We have been improvising for quite a while already as we are on the Great American Loop.

Today we called Ranger Tug parts phone # & were told to send an email to: parts@fluidmotionmarine.com.
The email got us no where. Their reply: "We're in the process of transitioning to a new parts service model, which includes preparing a team dedicated to providing parts information and processing parts orders. We expect to be operational with this new setup in the coming months, with continued development into the future.
At the time being, we are temporarily pausing new orders to expedite the process."

Thanks for your help.
Amy.

Hi. Yes, ranger tug/fluid motion sent us the supplier name: Marine Depot Direct. Sku# 88121. They are about $20.

Based on my experience, I would recommend that you use the Perko SS cable leash on the cap instead of the ball and chain style. Small but much stronger stainless cable construction. Much harder to break it if you (or a not-too-careful fuel attendant) hit it with the nozzle. Amazon has it for a silly price, but others sell it for about $8 if you can't find it in a marine store.

Out of stock - it seems your post put a run on the fuel cap.🙂
Defender shows it in stock. Also can be ordered if they don't have it on the shelf.
