On our 2022 RT27 OB, we came back from a ride the other day and can’t seem to get shore power to the battery charger. The LED in the plug is on, so we know there’s power in the cord. When turning on the breaker for shore power, we get nothing. Tried the breaker for the battery charger: nothing. Looking at the battery charger itself, the display is blank and buttons do nothing. I’ve looked all over for blown fuses and tripped breakers but had no luck. Does the battery charger have an inline fuse somewhere that I’m just not seeing? We’ve had no issues with this all season.

Turn off everything including:
  • inverter rotary
  • house rotary
  • engine rotary switch
  • all combo rotary switch
  • shore power
Wait 5 minutes
Turn all on
If doesn't work try repeating turnoff and wait 5 minutes. Then turn back on. This has worked for me.
No power still, ask an expert.

Also check to see if you have a circuit breaker on inverter. It may be a push button breaker. My KISAE has a button breaker.

Do your outlets have power? Remember you have two shore power breakers, the main AC breaker at the top of the panel and the ELCI breaker that will be somewhere close to the shore power inlet.

Well, sometimes I can’t see the trees through the forest, or something like that. It turns out the breaker with the ground fault sensing module got turned off somehow and I didn’t notice. Anyway, thanks for the mental exercise.
