2. In installing a Sensar Marine system, do you have a recommended location for the Sensar unit?

Do you locate both the bilge sensor and the monitor sending unit under the steps? Or is the bilge sensor unit under the steps, near the bilge pump and the Sensar sending unit located higher in the boat or closer to the house batteries?
