Is there a service kit for this engine: filters (fuel, oil, water), belts, impeller, etc? I find it confusing and difficulty to know the parts numbers etc or am I missing an easy way to get these parts?

I serviced our D3 from 2015 - 2020 and always had to order the parts individually. It was easier back then when the Fluid Motion parts department could supply customers with most of the parts at a reasonable market price. Once you do the research and get your parts numbers (and best cost suppliers) doing it every year thereafter is not such a chore. With our D4 I sometimes just order two years parts at a time to save effort and shipping charges.

which parts did you always have on hand for the D3? Also I am having a hard time finding the right parts number as my engine manual does not have the parts identified by number. Again, I think I am missing something. In the past I have only had small sailboat diesels usually Universal which was easy to identify parts and their numbers

My goodness, How kind of you. Thank you and I will certainly check to make sure they are compatible with my boat. I know for instance I have a different generator. Again thank you for your kindness.

Does anybody have a similar list for an R29 2017 Volvo D4-300 ??

We traded in our R25SC in 2020 When we ordered our 2021 R29S so I don't have any current part numbers for the D3-150 but I have some old notes from when I ordered parts for our R25SC. They are as follows:
Belt Tensioner Part # 21424647 (This is on the front side of the D-3 in your boat and they are notorious for failing so you should check and replace as necessary. Our boat was a freshwater boat and stored in the garage when we were not on it and the tensioner still failed.) (Source for this and other parts = Volvoparts.com ).{Spraying this frequently with CRC 3-36 or a similar lubricant should assist in extending its life.}
Hex Socket Screw Part # 959245 (if I recall this is the screw used to attach the belt tensioner.)
V Ribbed Belt Part # 21160912
Oil Filter Kit Part # 30788490
Primary Fuel Filter Part # 861014
Secondary Fuel Filter Part # 21139810 (This is the filter that mounts on the engine.)
Secondary Fuel Filter Sensor Part # 3808616 ( This screws onto the bottom of the on-engine fuel filter and only needs to be replaced if broken (be careful not to overtighten it and it shouldn't need replacement).)
Air Filter Part # 21379288
Crank Case Filter Part # 21368879
Transmission Oil Filter Part # 3582069
Impeller Kit Part # 21951352

I have a copy of the old Ranger Tugs Parts Acquisition Form from when you could purchase parts from them. If you PM me with your email and phone number I can send you a copy.

You should always have a replacement impeller and at least one, if not more, primary fuel filters. A secondary fuel filter is the next thing I would add after at least two or three primary fuel filters.
