I already own a Honda 1000 generator. I havent tested yet but I am hoping it can run the AC OR the battery charger ( I know it cant run both, hence the question). For day trips, if I could run the battery charger I could run the AC as well as other higher draw items (keurig, grill etc.) while the AC is running (VIA the inverter). If I use the gen as "shore power" I will only be able to power the AC and thats it. I know that even with the battery charger on I will have a net loss of battery, thats fine for a day trip.
Looking at the panel it would appear this is not possible since I would need to have the shore power breaker on which would block off the inverter breaker.
I hope what I am asking makes sense. I am just hoping to be able to use the AC and other items for a full day on the water and using the charger should extend me from the "5 hours" of ac use that the lithium will provide.
