It's typically standard on the outboard models. Not standard on the inboard diesels.
Location of the galvanic isolator depends on the boat you have, if you have one installed. They are usually placed very close to the shorepower connection on the boat.
On the R27-OB, they're located in the starboard lazarete, just forward of the battery charger.

Pretty easy to test on the r27. Might need a mirror to make sure you get the clips on tight.
