I missed a step during winterization and now when I turn on the shower, I hear running water behind the wall. Has anyone else had the same experience and how did you access the pipes behind the wall to repair the split?

What year and model boat is this for?

Ok great. The R31 has the easiest access to anything under the floor.
You can remove the the panel at the forward part of the cave. There are a few square drive screws on the starboard side of the panel and an angle bracket just inside and above the small access opening for the macerator valve. Then the whole panel comes out. You should have easy access at that point. This is on a 2021 31 but should be similar . Except I think your water lines are different than the pex in the newer models

I'm a bit confused. Last time I removed that panel in the cave, I saw the wine cooler and AC unit, both of which would block access to the inside wall of the shower. I'll give it another try. Perhaps I can remove the wine cooler (a job I've been thinking about anyway...replace with a door to increase food storage space) and then get access to the back of the shower. THANKS!

Well start with removing the small access panel to get to the mascerator valve. Then look in though there to verify .
