We just purchased a R-27 and will be mooring in Portland OR and were wondering how many folks are in our area. We know of a few and would like to find out how many we may be able to meet locally?

There's more than you think! Well, at least more than I thought. Two years ago we had a get together for area Fluid Motion owners. I thought maybe 10 people ... We had over 40!

We keep our 31 in the water up in Des Moines, after trailering our R25SC and or R27OB. We live in Battle Ground.
Email me at zekeandboone@gmail.com and I'll put you on the PDX contact list.

I have a Cutwater 30 Sedan that we berth at the Portland Yacht Club. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of Fluid Motion boats on the Columbia. Most are Ranger Tugs, but there is a good smattering of Cutwaters as well. We currently have two RT 31s and one RT 27 Classic berthed at PYC. We had a 3rd RT 31, and a Cutwater 28, but these owners are moving on. You’ll find a fun camaraderie among the Fluid Motion owners. I might add, PYC is a great club.

We will be at Columbia Crossings. We just purchased our R-27 . Like some others we are old sailors looking for a change of pace. Sold my Sabre 32 a little ways back and want to do some cruising on the R- 27. I was concerned about the currents at PYC and don't mind heading past the no wake zone. We also have very good friends who own a classic 25 near our slip.

Nice to meet you, we have many friends in Woodland. We live on a small farm in Fargher Lake . My email address is Docblynn@outlook.com. We just purchased our
R-27OB and it would be good to know someone nearby who owns one. We will be keeping our boat at Columbia Crossings on Hayden Island

We keep our R31-CB at Portland Yacht Club and our R21-EC on the Multnomah Channel in Scappoose.

We are in Seattle, but I'm planning on cruising up the Columbia someday. Anyone done it? would be interested in any 411 on the trip

We are one of the R-27's at Portland Yacht Club. Current is my friend, I have a back in slip facing into the current. Thrusters aid in aligning as the current backs the boat into the slip and side mirrors help to align as we have a Port Tie. Post a planned cruise and we'll try to join you.

We do an Annual "Delta Cruise" in the lower River and if you contact me I'll forward the details.

We are very new and will have our boat at Columbia Crossings in early May. Let's organize something then.

We have a R25 Classic, kept on a trailer in the Sandy Oregon area for cruising in the San Juans / Columbia River.
