Im so excited! Tomorrow I finally get delivery of my Ranger Tug. Been waiting for a month now. Super stoked for new adventures. Ive been scanning this site for idea's, im sure ill have more! Ill be moored in Sunset Aquatica marina in Huntington Beach if anyone is around.

Fantastic! Do you have plans to explore the channel islands?
 
Excellent! Coches Prietos is a must. Just watch out for southerly winds. Also I recommend having a second anchor so that you can bow and stern anchor with your stern looking at the beach. That is one of my most favorite places.

Yes, second anchor is on the list. For the second one, do you just use rope?

I got 200ft of 1/2" rope, 10ft of 1/4" chain and the Fortress FX-11. We had a really windy and big swell night in Fry's Harbor and it all held great.
 
Found the issue, no fluid in the transducer. You can see the red in the bilge. It must have a leak
