At the suggestion of another member, I'm posting a follow up here to a posting I made to the "Ask the Ranger Factory" forum. Briefly, the foam adhesive holding the frame for the starboard sliding window failed, allowing the frame to flex downward and the window to fall out into the water. We're the second owner of the boat, so apparently there is no warranty to cover this. For now, I used a piece of plexiglass and a 3d printed handle.

The customer service rep provided us with a link to the company that handles replacement parts. This company came back with a quote of $3900 for a replacement window. They later contacted me, saying that they made a mistake and the real price was $2440.00 and included the sliding window, the frame and the fixed window that is glued onto the cabin structure. There would be an additional $300-$650 of shipping, or we could drive to the factory somewhere in WA and pick it up ourselves. When I asked why they couldn't supply just the sliding glass part and handle, they just said it's the only option provided by Fluid Motion.

In contrast, I submitted a RFQ at onedayglass.com for a custom replacement window and their quote was $182. This quote was for 5/16" tempered glass, two holes for mounting the handle, with coarse grind edges, and eased corners. Unfortunately, this solution only has one tint option, so it would not likely match the tint of the rest of the windows. I'll be looking for a local glass shop that can make the window and hopefully match the tint.

For a boat that costs over $250k new, this seems like very poor customer support. Has anyone else had issues like this?

I sure as hell will be checking and keeping an eye on it now. How exactly did the frame fail, and how did you fix it?
Over the last 30 years of owning many recreational vehicles, I find your better off fixing it yourself, because customer service pretty much sucks on all of them, even under warranty.
If they gave a damn about customer satisfaction, they should at least take into consideration the issue of defective equipment and sell you a new window at their cost.

Look at the photo of the frame separating from the glass.
