Is your black water tank (BWT) centered aft of the transmission? Is the macerator near the BWT? If so, only the pre-2016 C-28s may be able to help.
In 2016 the BWT was moved to the port side underneath the stove and sink cabin floor.
Our 2017 C-28’s macerator is reached through an access panel in the cabin floor right next to the cabin/cockpit door.

On the 2014 C28 it is located on the bottom right hand corner (when facing) the white board mounted in front of the waste tank. It is within easily within 3/8 inch from the bottom. And, I agree with Tristen, almost impossible to get to. I bought a 16 inch 1/8 inch extension, which allows me to come into the screw almost flush with the deck/hull, and was going to try that using a flashlight and mirror to locate but I'm to the point where I would consider just cutting the lower two screws if need be, The upper two should be sufficient. Tomorrow.....
