Hello, my name is Jerry and I just bought a 2011 Ranger 21EC. The cooktop is missing and I have no idea what is supposed to be there or if it is still available. If someone could provide any information, I would be most grateful.

Jerry, I have an '07 R21-EC with the same issue. I believe the factory stove was a butane stove. We gave ours to the seller because she wanted to use it for camping. We're going to install an inverter and one burner induction stove. Our preference is not to have anything on the boat that can explode (or at least that is the plan). We already have an inverter from another application and induction stoves, particularly single burner, are quite cheap.

Thanks Kevin. I’m sure it was a butane stove as the vent is still there. Your induction burner is a good idea for safety. I’m not sure what I will do yet. I’m kicking various ideas around. Happy boating!
