Bow thruster trouble shooting

Hey folks.

Pulling into our slip this evening our bow thruster stopped working. You can hear the motor engage and spin. It sounds like it has no load. Spins in either direction. Stern thruster works fine. Went under the boat. Nothing in the tunnel, impeller spins fine by hand. It's not a switch or fuse. You can hear the motor fire, just no reaction from the impeller.
Are there any checks I can do from inside the boat? Thoughts on the cause?

shear pin snapped. $5 part that can be replaced.

Is the shear pin inside or outside the hull?

Sounds like your typical broken shear pin. From inside the boat you unbolt the motor from the tunnel and you'll likely find pieces of what used to be your shear pin. Remove them all, clean the area and install a new one. Bolt the motor back down and you're back in business.
