I’m assuming you have lithium batteries and outboard motor. If so you have a dc-dc converter. On my Solara s310 I connected a portable panel to the solar input of the dc-dc converter. The converter has connections for engine alternator and another for solar. Note the dc-dc converter only uses on of the inputs at a time. So if engine is running, that is what will charge the battery. But when the engine is off and solar is connected, solar will charge the battery.

Thanks again for your help in this and my other post on charging. The community here is really nice.

Is this the DC-DC converter? This image is from the quarter-berth.

Yours in a different location than our 310. But it should be the one you are looking for. Remove the bottom two little Philips screws and you should see where you can connect the solar panel.
I hard wired to the converter and have a cord that I can pull out and connect to the panel when I need to charge batteries. Make sure to fuse the positive wire and use proper size wire.
