I am looking for an engine space warming option for winters here in the PNW. I want to keep it as moisture free as I can. I will be on the boat quite often i so I can check on things regularly. I have an R29CB. What do you all use? Thanks.

How do you run from the engine compartment to the cave? I am not at my boat R31 to check it out right now - thank you.

I have a C-28 . Ran the extension cord past the VP D4 engine and below the cockpit/cabin floor and to an access hatch inside the cabin. Propped up the edge of the access hatch with 1.5” Schedule 40 PVC pipe so the cord wouldn’t get squished and plugged it into a cabin A/C outlet.
Your RT-29CB may need a bit different cord routing but I’m thinking there’s likely a way to make it work.

On the r31 it’s super easy. There is an opening where wires pass through just forward of the engine slightly port of center. This allows you to pull the wire into the cave by the step in the cave.
Open the engine hatch and go into the cave you should be able to see light while looking aft by the cave step.

Depending on the year, there's an outlet at the forward end of the inverter that the Pali can plug into.

Also have the Pali bilge heater.

My ProMariner inverter did not have an AC outlet on it. I had an electrician install an outlet in the port side laz and wire it to an open switch on the AC Panel. This way it has it’s own discrete circuit and switch separate from the cabin outlets.
