I can’t seem to get the TV to sync with a Roku device. The hdmi and usb ports are hooked up and the home Roku screen is up and that’s as far as I can get—no response from the Roku remote buttons. The tv (watched Bonanza for a few minutes!) and DVD player work well so the system is good but anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed with trying to get the harbor Wi-Fi internet to come up on Roku? Or is this futile without starlink or a new 19” tv?

Not planning on watching a lot of tv but kids need a video now and then and movie night is fun.

You need to change the TV's input to use HDMI instead of the TV or DVD player. ROKU also requires internet via WIFI.

I did use the hdmi input in the source to get the Roku Home Screen but it says not connected and I can’t get the Roku remote to move to the connectivity screen. This Roku works great on a 2018 plasma screen. I love a good mystery and the tv is providing me with plenty of questions!

The ROKU needs power. Depending on which one you purchased, it may need 110v AC power, or it may require USB power which it can get off the TV.

I’ve got usb though the Roku but I thought the TV was 12V. I don’t think running shore power or the inverter will affect the tv or its usb port where the Roku is drawing power. But I don’t know so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks Martin!

If your not getting a response from the Roku remote, you probably need to resink it with the Roku. You can google this to quickly see how it’s done. If I remember correctly, you push the button under the remote battery cover soon after the Roku is powered up. Assuming the batteries in the remote are good.

To sync your Roku remote, first ensure that your Roku device is powered on. Then, press and hold the reset button on the back of the remote for about 5 seconds until you see the pairing light flash, indicating that it is trying to connect to the Roku device

Bill & Laurie—Yes I remember way back some trick like that—thank you so much for your help I will try your suggestion sometime tomorrow while I’m waiting for a Coast
Guard Auxiliary inspection. Thanks again!

Pardon the quick hijack...I have an HDMI port in the salon on the bulkhead near the dining table (close to salon tv). I'm guessing it has to do with the tv but I haven't investigated it yet. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Yes, I’m pretty sure those ports go to the Salon TV. I think the 29 and the 43 have them. Not sure about the others.
