Stacey and I would like to participate as we always do, though we don't need moorage as Kingston is our home port. Should we still register?

Thanks!

Hi Adam, no need to register and glad you and Stacey will be able to be there!
Best,
Scott

What is the status of the waitlist?

Hi, we are still open for registration. So far we have 23 boats registered so plenty of room!

Hi Scott,
I would like to extend my stay by one day (Sunday the 9th. Leave on Monday) I left a message for the marina but you are the guy! Please let them know? Thanks. Kevin.

Hello!

First, thank you Scott, Patty, Debbie, Tom, Brett and Jasa for taking this on and continuing the legacy Steve started at Kingston. I am sure you will do a much better job than he did.

We are looking forward once again to meeting our boat friends, both old and new, at another great Kingston rendezvous. To be prepared properly for the planned festivities we would like a little clarification on the following;

How many boats, or better yet, how many adult attendees, to you expect to be on the dock for the cocktail competition Thursday evening? In an attempt to garner more votes and therefore increase the odds of winning the championship and associated highly invaluable prizes, we will attempt to have enough libations on hand for everyone present to receive a sample. This will be no small feat but I am sure the prizes will be much better than those that Steve customarily brings and will be well worth the effort.

Are there any plans for our group on Saturday evening? Maybe a Fluid Motion section at the concert?

Thanks,
Brien and Rosemary Bluhm

Another question.
How do we know we have a confirmed reservation?

Hi Brien and Rosemary,
Well, you have some lofty expectations regarding improving on Steve's job🙂! Our planning group will be finalizing the schedule/activities next week so stay tuned regarding all the details including the cocktail competition. Our initial thought regarding cocktail quantity each competitor provides was that, like an appetizer competition, there would be enough for a number of people to sample but no one is trying to have enough for everyone attending to try each entry. In addition, each serving would be small (think small plastic cups only partially filled). All that said, we are still finalizing activities so stay tuned. The Kingston Yacht Club is hosting us for a Luau on Saturday afternoon and we have the tent for Friday afternoon like last year for other activities. We currently have 30 boats registered and all but one boat have 2 people attending. We also have two people attending from Kingston so in total, we're in the neighborhood of 60 people. Hope that helps!
Thanks,
Scott

Thanks Scott,

So the luau is Saturday? The information sheet above has it scheduled on Friday.

We were thinking just like you on the cocktails, plastic shot glasses half full. Not sure we will get all 60 but we will try!

Appreciate the effort needed to organize this and will stand by for more info.

Hi Brien and Rosemary,
Correct...we had heard that Kingston Yacht Club was having their own Luau on Saturday and that we had to move to Friday but that turned out to be inaccurate - so we are now confirmed for the Saturday afternoon Luau. Sorry for the confusion!
Best,
Scott

Hey Brien,
I assume your post about Steve is a joke??? Yes?

Hi Jim,

Yes. Steve enjoys verbal jousting and understands my, sometimes odd, sense of humor. We consider him one of the best boat friends we have! He will be the first to tell you he spares every expense when it comes to his contest prizes. But we all know they are really pretty great. Anyway, sorry to alarm you. Steve’s stellar reputation remains intact. My comments were made in jest and with love. See you two at Kingston I hope?

Hi Brien,
Glad to see your response. I think humor doesn’t come through as it is intended sometimes on these platforms. We will not be at Kingston this year due to other commitments. We enjoyed our after cruise with you guys last year. Hopefully we can hit a Thirsty Thursday this summer. It’s going so fast!!!

I forgot if I registered... but we want to attend. Just filled the form out again just in case I missed it earlier.
Hi Martin, you had registered but no problem having a duplicate. Look forward to seeing you there!

Hello Scott,
Not sure if we had previously registered, just completed. Let us know if we made the cut?

Hi Cliff,
You’re all set! Look forward to seeing you there.
