Where is my Webasto heater located?

We purchased a 2020 R-23 and wanted to know where the Webasto heater is located. The manual says that it is below the helm seat however the diagram that accompanies that statement shows it on the port side near the port observers seat. We had a temporary issue where the heater wouldn't light off but thinking we were nearly out of fuel I opened the fuel cap and the heater worked. Wonder if there is a blockage in the tank venting. (If there is any venting that is)

The factory installation on my 2019 R-23 is under the forward settee seat.

Thanks Mik. So outboard of the microwave oven? In our 2020 R-23 we have a microwave under the settee. Would I need to remove the seat or remove the microwave to access it?

On my Ranger there are 2 sets of hinges under the forward settee securing it in place. For access to the heater, unscrew the set that will allow the seat bottom to tilt forward. I was able to download the complete manual for my model from the Webasto website. I also made a few phone calls to Webasto for questions that I couldn’t find the answer to in the manual. Their customer service was outstanding.
