C248 fresh water access

I’ve got a new c248 and it has air bubbles pulled in from the fresh water tank. I can see bubbles in the line as it comes out of the tank. Tanks full. I’m assuming a loose or cracked tank fitting from the factory.

My question is how do you access it? I can see it via the inspection port in the forward berth, but it’s about 4’ in mid ship by the drivers seat. The only access seems to be to cut a hole in the floor. Hoping there’s a better way as this is a brand new boat. Trying (and struggling) to get in for warranty help. Any other ideas are welcome!

On my 2018 I can access the top of the fresh water tank by laying down in the cave under the dining table. If I remember correctly I had to cut a small piece of thin wood out of the way to gain more access. Then I could see and touch the fittings on top of the fresh water tank. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I think it’ll end up being something like that. The cave has a removable floors but it’s a single long piece so no idea how you would get it out of the way without cutting it, that might get me within 18” of it
