The pump clears the bowl, but the blackwater slowly returns in about 10 minutes. It has been suggested that there is an air-relief valve on the discharge line between the toilet and the holding tank that may be clogged. If so, where is it and how does one get to it? I suspect it is somewhere behind the galley, but I don't want to start removing everything until I am on the right track. Also, if I do find it, is it an easy fix or should I should I find someone who has expertise? My thanks to anyone who replies - John C.

Has the joker valve been replaced lately? The joker valve is a rubber one-way back flow preventer sitting right inside the hose as it starts its run from toilet to black water tank. They are usually pretty easy to replace (45 minutes or less) when the black water tank is empty.

CH (Cleans Hoses) is probably what you need. Magic in a bottle. It'll clear out the hoses of any cloggs and restrictions. Cleaning the joker valve (or replacing it) is probably needed as well.
