I would love to know who your dealer is, I got quoted 14k for my R27! The hardware alone is 5-6k

Boat Specialists in Ventura. I was their first install on an R25 (possibly anyone's first install on an R25), so I got a bit of a "guinea pig" discount.

Also, the smallest size (which I have) is significantly less expensive than the next size up, which the R27 can accommodate. Plus, probably, inflation/tariffs, etc. since then.

We opted for the SKR system on our new R-27 dual OB Salty Secrets, the factory did the install we are very happy with it with our first 30hrs on the boat, it’s an expensive option but one we don’t regret. Can’t wait to get it up here to Alaska.

I am curious for those that have installed SKR, where did the underwater lights that used to be on the tabs get moved too. Anyone have the chance to upgrade them?

Mine were just moved to the transom. Original lights though.

I had originally planned on upgrading them to something that is RGB color changing during the process, but it was already expensive enough as-is, so stuck with the factory ones.
