I have an RT25SC kept in a boathouse with shorepower connected year round. I keep a residential type dehumidifier running year round set at 50%. It usually collects about the same regardless of season, about half full in 3 - 4 weeks after the initial dry out. The cost is minimal. I used to be on the Chesapeake and relied on the bags for a couple of seasons. One year i got black mold throughout the cabin. Not saying it will happen to you or anyone else but I never want to clean and disinfect the boat for mold ever again. These units are cheap and reliable.We are soon to take possession of a new R23. It will be dry stored alongside the Snohomish River. Should we install a dehumidifier for winter months? Thoughts about a residential grade compressor model?
