My bow railings are less sturdy than one would expect? Mine have quite a bit of play in them, especially back by the windshield. Is this common, and is there a way (and access) to tighten them.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi there Steve!

This isn't necessarily common, but the interpretation of sturdiness can be a little subjective as well. If you really do feel that you need to tighten the bolts, you would need to do a little surgery. For the aft ones, you will need to go through the cabinet work in the hanging locker for the port side and the area around the mirror cabinet for the starboard side. You'll need to do a little bit of measuring to make sure you know where they are and then cut access holes to get a hold of them. It's a little time consuming but can be done. Hope this gets you started but let us know.

Cheers,

Ralf

Thanks for speedy response. I like the description i.e., surgery. Do you know how many bolts there are for each stansion?
